About Four Boys and a NL Girl Designs

My shop began as a blog (fourboysandanlgirl.blogspot.com) and then progressed into a crafty podcast (fourboysandanlgirl) on Youtube. It was named after my household - I am a Newfoundland & Labrador (NL) girl living with four boys - one of which I'm married to.

Four Boys and a NL Girl Designs is located in the beautiful province of Newfoundland & Labrador where I live with my four boys and two cats in a beautiful home overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Yes, I CAN see whales and icebergs and boats and gulls from my living room window, though not all at the same time!

I am a very creative person and I love to travel. I find when I travel that I like to pick up souvenirs in the form of things like yarn from the place I've travelled to or a craft kit that is reminiscent of the place I've been. I felt like tourists coming to my home province were not given enough of that opportunity and this little cottage industry was born.

My cross stitch designs are inspired by and dedicated to the landscape and architecture of Newfoundland & Labrador. I have hand stitched each of my designs and hope you have as much fun stitching these whimsical designs as I have had designing and stitching them.
